The panel discussion was scandalous insofar as my fellow panelists were shockingly low-quality propagandists for the Kiev narrative: clueless and ill-informed. Two of them were Americans whom we can call representative of the think tank culture. I offer the link so that you can see why Russians have been dismayed that there is no one to talk to.
