Yesterday evening’s restaurant life in the very center of Petersburg with the Church on the Blood (site of the assassination of Tsar Alexander II) in the background.
Does this demonstrate Russian indifference to the war. Or is it the Achilles heel of Putin’s guns and butter policies?
Lots of military age men strolling about, hanging out.
Are you allowed to visit the military hospitals and talk with the wounded.?
