This is another brief interview with the Indian broadcaster which followed back-to-back with the foregoing interview.
Note that this evening’s Russian state television has very extensive reporting on the halt to U.S. military supplies to Ukraine and uses lengthy video clips and newspaper citations coming from U.S., French, British and German media as well as the public statements of Ukrainian officials. In the commentary show ‘Sixty Minutes,’ Trump’s decision to cut military aid to Ukraine is put at the door of Eldridge Colby, Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, who is said to head Trump’s brain trust within the Pentagon. Colby, they say, sees no value in wasting further valuable equipment on Ukraine, and instead wants to direct all U.S. procurement and building of U.S. equipment reserves for an eventual conflict with China.
You keep saying that Russia "behaved badly", but you do not say why Russia, which is usually very diplomatic, did not do the diplomatic thing in this case.

Back in the days of the Biden Autopen Administration, there were media reports mentioning "Trump-proofing" aid to the Zelensky regime, but I have never come across public details about what was involved.
Shortly after being inaugurated, President Trump briefly cut off aid to Zelensky before quickly restoring it. This was never really explained, but leaves open the question of whether the Trump Administration ran into some effective "Trump-proofing" legal mines planted by the Autopen?
Perhaps now the Trump Administration has found a way to navigate through the "Trump-proofing" mine field and again shut down aid to Zelensky. After all, the potential of shutting down military aid was always the big lever that President Trump could have in persuading Zelensky to get serious about negotiating an end to the fighting.
