This morning’s interview with News X World was in two segments. The link above is to one of these, namely to make sense of the visit that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has begun in Beijing today. It comes at a critical moment following US imposition of a naval blockade on the Strait of Hormuz to stop all Iranian exports, a large part of which was being supplied to China. And while two tankers with Iranian oil paid for by China were allowed to pass through the blockade without hindrance a day ago, shortly afterwards Trump was calling for them to be stopped and sent back.
If the U.S. navy should stop, board and redirect this tanker, then it will pose a direct challenge that China cannot ignore the way it did when the U.S. took over a tanker leaving Venezuela for China following the seizure of President Maduro. Venezuelan waters were outside of China’s military capabilities, whereas the Indian Ocean and Gulf region are well within the scope of Beijing’s naval power.

Someone needs to say STOP to the monsters in the White House!
Before they destroy the world.
