‘Judging Freedom’ edition of 27 November 2024: Russia’s Deadly New Missile

Our chat with Judge Andrew Napolitano opened with a look into the technical achievements that the recently used Oreshnik medium range hypersonic ballistic missile represents and whether there is any justification for its existence having been overlooked by U.S. intelligence. We then moved on to how the Kremlin perceives the seeming defiance of the United States to this new reality of superior Russian arms as witnessed by their further ATACMS strikes in the Kursk region this past Sunday and Monday. This led us to the question of whether the Russians will show forbearance at such provocations while waiting for Donald Trump’s inauguration on 20 January or will carry out a very tough retaliation now as many fear. We also discussed the various possible targets for the Russian retaliatory strike, whether in the U.K., Poland, Moldova or Kiev.
