Joe Biden’s foreign policy of simultaneous containment through establishment of military bases at their perimeter and through economic warfare against Russia and China pushed them into one another’s arms, to the point where they have a de facto military alliance even if the corresponding treaty has never been written.

I do hope, Trump is trying to destroy his country from within, to build it up again, but without the unaccounted bureaucracy (deep state). Let me add as well the oligarchs, NATO, MICIMATT cause, except for maybe NATO, I am not sure if these are on his list as well. I am thinking: maybe he is trying to recreate society as the founding fathers had envisioned. But what do I know.

That gets straight to the heart of the problems facing the US -- the utter worthlessness, if not externally-purchased mendaciousness, of the denizens of the US Congress who cannot honestly be said to represent the US people.
Long ago, those useless creatures delegated the power to levy sanctions & tariffs to the US President (since they have little interest in details). It is not the most suitable tool for a President to use in trying to reorder America's relations with the world, but it is the tool which the politicans provided.
