Farmers of the world, unite!

The farmers’ protests across the European Union these past several weeks were followed with great interest in Russia and Belarus by local media. As someone based in Brussels living just 20 minutes walking distance from the European Parliament buildings on Place Luxembourg, which resembled a war zone during the repeat demonstrations of tractor driving farmers, I was invited to comment by the Mir television channel which broadcasts in Russian to the countries of the Former Soviet Union and also by the ONT national broadcaster in Belarus.
