Donald Trump, the Ceasefire Maker?

Yesterday America and the world were stunned yet again by an announcement from the American president with respect to the Iran-Israel conflict. Trump claimed that a ceasefire has been arranged between the warring parties. Initially of 12 hours duration it may well be extended indefinitely, putting an end to 11 days of hell for citizens in both countries who had been running for cover from aerial attacks and missile strikes that destroyed residences and infrastructure around them.
