‘Dialogue Works’ edition of 13 February: Good news to share

It was a pleasure discussing with host Nima Alkhorshid the very positive news that came out of Washington and out of Moscow yesterday indicating that we may finally be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel that we call the Russia-Ukraine war.

I have set out the major points on reasons for optimism in my latest essay analyzing the message of Donald Trump on his Truth Social platform with respect to the 90-minute phone call he had with Vladimir Putin, and also analyzing the speech US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth delivered here in Brussels to the Coordinating Group responsible for assistance to Kiev.
