Days of the Jackals: G7 gathering in Alberta, Canada, June 2025

In the past several days, I have listened with chagrin to the characterizations of Donald Trump given on major interview programs aired on youtube by widely followed and respected colleagues. One, Scott Ritter, has repeatedly called Trump a weak person, a coward, who changes his views whenever he is confronted by strong opposition and does not pursue a strategic vision. Ritter said he regretted having voted for Trump last November. I ask parenthetically, what would have been the consequence of his and others voting for minor candidates with miniscule followings or of their abstaining? As I see it, we would already be in an open war with Russia had Kamela Harris won and Judgment Day would be looming immediately before us.
